Murray to win US Open?

I have to agree with John the Gambler that Andy Murray is worth a bet at 14/1 (I got him at 16/1 on Betfair) to win the US Open. As much as I dislike him, he's shown that he can at least compete with the big three at the top, though there's not much hope if Nadal plays at his outstanding best. Indeed it's asking a lot for him to win - Federer and Djokovic would have to continue their mediocrity, and Nadal would have to slip up, but I think it's worth a shot at the high price.
