I was reading a tourist guide to Dubai earlier. When discussing the climate, it couldn't state enough how beautiful the weather was and that the sun was ever-present. Apparently on average it rains in Dubai on only five days per year.
So of course I check the forecast for next week again and this time it looks like it's going to be HEAVY RAIN on THREE DAYS.
I was speaking to the guy I'm going with and we were so close to just cancelling the trip. In the end we thought sod it let's just go, but bloody hell I just cannot believe it.

I take it you get some nice perks....free flightd per year working for BA ?
Oh and if you go Dubai dont forget no rumpy bumpys on the beach however tempted you are as it is SHARIA lAW remember.
Better fall in love with a rich Sheiks daughter and your BA days will be behind you.....meaning sitting on your behind in First Class flying all over the world.:)
Good luck

Not quite free flights but very cheap. Return to Dubai was £60 plus tax, so £120 all-in.
There definitely wasn't any rumpy pumpy on the beach; I was scared to do anything for fear of being arrested and locked up!
Falling in love with Miss Sheikh (rather, having her fall in love with me) would be extremely lucrative and might call for another trip out there at some point, if not just for the weather....
Thanks for reading, and for commenting!
