I've booked a trip to Toronto with Gareth for the beginning of next month on the next leg of my round-the-world quest. Should be even colder than it is here at the moment, hopefully with plenty of 'proper' snow. Obviously I'm excited about visiting Canada for the the first time (for those of you who don't know, I'm 25% Canadian and very proud of it haha)!
The plan originally was to go to Cape Town but Gareth had to wait over the weekend to see if he could get the necessary leave on Monday. Unfortunately the flights had gone up in price by the time I checked them again on Monday, so we decided on Toronto seeing as the flights were less than half the price.
