Last two weeks before work

Thanks to those of you that left comments, either on here or by text. Please keep it up, it's nice to read feedback. Anything will do; it doesn't have to be good... in fact if it is personal or offensive it will most likely be funny and more interesting to read anyway!

So, yesterday it was two weeks before I start work at British Airways. After all that's happened since I left uni, there just had to be another drama before I actually started the job, and indeed there was. Someone from BA rang me up to say they hadn't received my contract (I sent it off about two weeks ago), which meant that today I've had to go and photocopy my copy of it and send it all off once more. Also, they have to re-send me the form to fill out my bank details on, which is just more paperwork and BS to get through. I have a horrible feeling that the bureaucracy is going to let me down and my start date will get put back. That would be really bad news, because I've told my mate from uni that I can go on holiday with him in early June. If my start date was delayed, I wouldn't be able to go on the holiday (I can't take any leave during the first five weeks). We'll just have to wait and see.

So how am I going to spend my last thirteen days of freedom? Probably doing nothing. There should be at least a couple of decent nights out during that period. I received a comment from Barry saying not to give up the gambling - I definitely won't, I'm just going to be holding back on the trading front for a while - and hopefully this Thursday night will be a good laugh; fuelled by a punt on the darts. I had an idea that we all put something like a fiver into a pot, then sit down and decide who we think will win in each fixture in this week's Premier League matches. Then we could stick a large accumulator bet on, which would result in everyone going beserk at a 180 being scored, and so on. In fact, I'll get a message out about that in a minute.

Ok folks, thanks for reading, more soon.
